Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Garnett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Van Damme (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Damme has chosen Fight to Survive as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Kevin Garnett could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Van Damme's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Garnett throws a one two combo.
Garnett takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Garnett misses with an uppercut. Damme saw that one coming.

Damme blocks a head kick by Garnett.
Donk. Damme catches Garnett right on the button with a cross.
Damme feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Garnett's calf.

Damme lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Garnett sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Garnett moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Damme rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Garnett moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Garnett lands a jab to the nose.

Some bone on bone action there as Garnett checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Damme throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Well, if Garnett is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Garnett's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Damme tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Garnett paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Van Damme showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
