Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Henry Aarons!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Raje Malapitan!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Aarons.
Malapitan is trying hard to land a takedown here. Aarons sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Aarons shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Malapitan napping and manages to drive through into side control!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Aarons tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Aarons has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Aarons tries for a kimura but Malapitan is defending well.

Aarons goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Malapitan has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Aarons but great work by Malapitan.
Malapitan is looking to take a break and control but Aarons is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Aarons shoots in for a takedown but Malapitan shows good takedown defense.
Aarons tries to score a power double leg takedown but Malapitan sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Aarons somewhat.
