PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tomasz Adamek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Austin Anderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Adamek comes into the arena with I Am The Sword - Motorhead blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Austin Anderson!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Lou da Vinci and John Kavanagh.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anderson cracks Adamek with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Adamek tries to close the distance and clinch but Anderson swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Adamek slips under a jab.
Adamek shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Anderson as he jumps to the side.
A leg kick checked by Adamek.
Adamek avoids a punch combination nicely.
Adamek shoots in looking for a takedown. Anderson tries to sprawl out of it but Adamek keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Anderson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Anderson, as that shot connected.
Anderson moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

It looks like Tomasz Adamek has been cut.
Anderson connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Adamek ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Adamek shoots in for a takedown but Anderson shows good takedown defense.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tomasz Adamek. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Anderson swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Adamek.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Anderson connects with a looping right hand.
Adamek takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Anderson fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Adamek.
Anderson lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Adamek is rocked!
Anderson cracks Adamek with a brutal left hook that knocks him out cold! This one is over in a flash! Game over!
