Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jeff Ginkel!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Justin Zerkle!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Gregory Folan and Yves DeLean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ginkel tries to clinch there but Zerkle circles away.
Ginkel throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

and Zerkle counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Zerkle is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Ginkel is just riding it out for now. Zerkle eventually gives up the hold.

Zerkle looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Ginkel is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

In his post fight interview, Justin Zerkle started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
