The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Van Der Sluijs lands a high kick!
Shackleton misses with a takedown attempt - Van Der Sluijs sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Van Der Sluijs lands with a kick to the ribs.
Van Der Sluijs stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Van Der Sluijs wants it to stay on the feet.
Shackleton on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Van Der Sluijs. Van Der Sluijs obviously looking to wear him down.

Shackleton takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Shackleton swings for the body but Van Der Sluijs moves out of range.
Van Der Sluijs slips a jab and a cross from Shackleton.
A head kick from Van Der Sluijs lands but Shackleton takes it in his stride.

Van Der Sluijs darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Shackleton's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Van Der Sluijs before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.
