Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dee Stroya (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jerron Nimoh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nimoh avoids a kick to the body.
Stroya works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
It looks like Jerron Nimoh has been cut.
Nimoh misses with a straight left.
Nimoh cracks Stroya with a right hand to the side of the head.

Stroya shoots in looking for a takedown. Nimoh tries to sprawl out of it but Stroya keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Nimoh manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Nimoh stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Nimoh wants it to stay on the feet.
Nimoh tries to clinch but Stroya is having none of it.

Nimoh throws a shot from downtown. Stroya moves away and avoids it.
Nimoh connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Stroya takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Stroya bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Nimoh enables Stroya to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Nimoh manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Stroya is looking to advance position but Nimoh has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Nimoh tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Stroya sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Nimoh steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Stroya. That one must have hurt.
Nimoh throws a shot from downtown. Stroya moves away and avoids it.
Stroya does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Stroya finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Stroya throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Stroya is defended easily by Nimoh.

Stroya walks straight into a right hand from Nimoh - that's dropped him! Nimoh jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Stroya from any more punishment! Stroya complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
