PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Chris Herzog (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Damien Satan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Herzog might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Takida - Curly Sue. Satan has chosen Bullet For My Valentine - Hit The Floor as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Satan throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.

He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Satan gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Satan apologises and we restart here on the feet.

A close round but Damien Satan will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Satan takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Satan tries to close the distance and clinch up but Herzog swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Satan shoots in for a double leg but Herzog sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

That was a close second round but I would say that Chris Herzog will probably get the nod.
