Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chris Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ricky Hu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hu misses with a straight right.
Johnson shoots in for a takedown but Hu shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Jab, jab by Hu - just one landing.
Hu scores with a three punch combo!

It looks like Chris Johnson has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Johnson slips a jab and a cross from Hu.
Hu throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Johnson.
Hu throws the left hand but Johnson avoids the punch easily.
Hu fails to land with a series of punches.
Hu lands with a straight right. Johnson didn't see that one coming.
Hu uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Hu misses the jab.

Hu fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Johnson has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Johnson shoots in for a double leg but Hu sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Hu throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.

Hu darts in and clinches Johnson up against the cage.

Hu breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Hu's corner calls for a 1-2. Hu obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Johnson shoots for a double leg takedown but Hu sprawls well. He's pushed Johnson's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chris Johnson. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Johnson is looking to clinch.
Hu swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Johnson tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Hu's jab looks to have found its range, popping Johnson under the eye.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Chris Johnson wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Johnson misses with a takedown attempt - Hu sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Hu scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Ricky Hu is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Hu cracks a nice hook into Johnson's ribs.
Johnson is breathing heavily.
Horrible takedown by Johnson or perhaps it was just good defense by Hu which made him look bad.

Hu lands with a nice body punch.
Hu is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Johnson had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Hu, right into the meat.
Hu connects with a leg kick. Johnson looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

Hu drops Johnson with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Johnson looks back up at him and smiles so Hu waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Hu drives through and clinches with Johnson against the cage.

Hu digs a good hook to Johnson's body.

Hu drops Johnson with a beautiful combination! Johnson stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Hu is looking for the KO!
Oh Johnson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Hu connects with a jab, followed by a picture perfect straight right that sends Johnson to the canvas, out cold! What a finish by Hu!
