Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Iso Kalu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rich Tennenbaum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rich Tennenbaum is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circling - Kalu throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Tennenbaum closes the distance and clinches.
Tennenbaum creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Tennenbaum tries a knee to the head but Kalu blocks it.
Kalu tries to score a body lock takedown but Tennenbaum shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Tennenbaum throws a knee to the head but misses.
Kalu changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Tennenbaum fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Tennenbaum clinches up with Kalu and pushes him back against the cage.

Kalu is breathing heavily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!
Kalu has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Tennenbaum avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Iso Kalu. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Tennenbaum throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Kalu blocks it with crossed arms.
Oh Kalu is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Tennenbaum dips a shoulder and cracks Kalu with a mighty uppercut! Kalu falls back against the cage and Tennenbaum unloads with a barrage of strikes! Kalu is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Tennenbaum screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
