Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jukka Pekka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kevin Brooks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brooks has chosen Amazing by Kanye West as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Kevin Brooks has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brooks misses with a head kick.

Pekka shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Brooks is working to get back to half guard.
Pekka trying to control but Brooks is having none of it.
Brooks can't escape the position.

Brooks moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Pekka sitting in guard, not really doing much.

Pekka decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
No luck for Pekka with that takedown attempt.
Brooks fails to land with a series of punches.
Pekka shoots in and drives through. Brooks sprawls well.
Brooks tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Pekka paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Pekka tries for a takedown but Brooks sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jukka Pekka. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Pekka looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Brooks shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Pekka counters with a single leg into guard. Brooks didn't expect that.

Brooks had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Pekka is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Brooks Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Pekka's back instead.
Brooks is not going to allow Pekka to sit and survive in this position.

Brooks is looking for the choke from the back position but Pekka is controlling his hands well.

Pekka just trying to survive but Brooks is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.
Pekka has his hands over his head blocking the strikes from Brooks.
Pekka has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke.
Pekka covering up well under a series of strikes from Brooks.

Brooks has got one arm under Pekka's chin. This could be trouble... Pekka trying to control the other hand but Brooks gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Pekka has tapped out! The fight is over!
