Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kim Young Il (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Braden Turk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Il comes to the cage accompanied by RATM - Renegades of Funk. Turk is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Status Quo- Deeper and Down. Kim Young Il could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Braden Turk's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Braden Turk!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, William Peck and Ian Loll.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Il misses with the body kick

and Turk counters by moving into the clinch.
Turk can't get the takedown.
Il gets underhooks to prevent Turk's takedown attempt.
Turk doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Il misses with a hook to the ribs.
Il gets through Turk's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

Il escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
A jab from Turk misses.
Il fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Turk takes a head kick and keeps coming.

Turk wants to lay and pray for a moment but Il keeps working.
Turk working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Turk is looking to take a break and control but Il is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Turk with the ground and pound but Il uses the opportunity to regain guard.

Il postures up in Turk's guard and throws a big left but Turk blocks it.

Turk avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Turk keeping moving, preventing Il from controlling successfully.
Il throws a big right hand that misses.
Il trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Il throws an elbow that misses. Turk uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Il's guard. Nice move by Turk!

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Turk rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Il moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Turk doesn't manage to clinch there - Il circles away.
Turk tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Il defends well and Turk ends up having to push Il into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Turk wants to take the fight to the mat but Il manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Il keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Il lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Il lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Turk circles away quickly and effectively.

A looping hook to the body misses from Turk. Il does a little dance to reset his feet.
Kim Young Il is winning the standup battle so far.
Il takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Il just misses with a punch to the body.
Il missing with a left hand there. Turk was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Turk throws a hook to the side of Il's head but Il sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Turk stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Turk gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Il counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Turk lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Il has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Il and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Braden Turk is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
