Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sub Mityou (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maciej Zegan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mityou swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
letting Zegan counter with a right hand.
Mityou shoots for a double leg takedown but Zegan sprawls well. He's pushed Mityou 's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
No joy there for Mityou , who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Zegan connects with a body shot.
Left hook, right uppercut from Zegan.
Zegan avoids the head kick by Mityou .
Mityou throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Mityou is defended easily by Zegan.

Zegan takes the fight into the clinch.
Mityou jumps guard but Zegan turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Mityou has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Zegan is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Zegan digs a right hand underneath Mityou 's ribcage. Mityou let out a lung full of air as it connected.

Mityou shoots in and drives through. Zegan sprawls well.

Zegan breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Mityou rushes Zegan and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Zegan is struggling to control the position.

Mityou drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Zegan wants to control but Mityou postures up.

Zegan is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Mityou asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Mityou is really struggling to control Zegan but he's trying to hold on to the position.

Zegan bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!

and Zegan counters with a straight right hand.
Sub Mityou is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Mityou shoots in but Zegan avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Zegan thows a body kick. Mityou tries to catch it but that hurt him.

Mityou shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Mityou showed some decent athleticism there.
Mityou moves into full mount! Zegan won't be happy about that!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Mityou shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Zegan's guard.

Zegan wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Mityou manages to pass to side control.

Zegan bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Mityou 's head backwards.

Zegan's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Mityou thows a huge punch but Zegan dodges it nicely.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Zegan can do anything to dispel that myth.

Mityou is pressing down on Zegan's thigh, looking to free his foot. Zegan is holding on for now.
Mityou stalling away here and it's allowed Zegan to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
