Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Andon Dinev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hitokiri Batosai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Batosai's choice of entrance music: Kenshin's Theme. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Hitokiri Batosai!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Richard Clark and William Gold.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dinev throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Dinev throws a hook to the side of Batosai's head but Batosai sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Batosai wants to clinch.
Batosai takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Batosai throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Dinev.
A head kick by Batosai misses
enabling Dinev to counter with a crisp jab.

Batosai rushes Dinev and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Dinev is trying to break free.

Dinev pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Hitokiri Batosai seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dinev avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
A nice leg kick lands there from Batosai.
Batosai takes a swing at Dinev's ribcage but misses.
Batosai tries to clinch but Dinev is having none of it.

Batosai will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Dinev up against the cage.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Batosai connects with a good right hand that stumbles Dinev. Dinev circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Batosai misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Batosai using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Dinev has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Dinev is looking to break free of the clinch but Batosai has double underhooks.

Batosai makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Dinev is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.

Oh Dinev is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Dinev is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Batosai is keeping busy.
Batosai lands a big right hand that drops Dinev! The killer instinct kicks in and Batosai finishes his opponent with a series of strikes from mount. A dominating finish by Batosai!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:46 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Hitokiri Batosai!
A relieved looking Hitokiri Batosai thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
