Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Goran Lovric (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Taylor Regan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lovric's entrance music is Eminem feat. Ludacris - Second Chance. A fine choice. Regan is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Thrift shop. Goran Lovric has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

It looks like Taylor Regan has been cut.

Lovric closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Regan quickly recovers to half guard.

Lovric is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Regan is just riding it out for now. Lovric eventually gives up the hold.

Regan seems to have recovered his senses.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Lovric throws a strike but Regan avoids it easily and moves to full guard.

Lovric is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Regan is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Regan has escaped and now he's on top!

Lovric has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Regan can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Lovric isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Regan stacks Lovric on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Regan!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Goran Lovric overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Lovric postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Regan is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Lovric, into his guard.

Lovric has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Regan is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Lovric.
