Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Slim Elis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zonk Goku (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Elis's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Bad Company. Goku has chosen Goku Song as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Elis will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Elis keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Elis swinging wildly here.
Elis lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Goku circles away quickly and effectively.
Goku has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Elis finds it's way round the side to connect with Goku's head.
Elis lands a slapping body shot.
Elis throws a right and a left that both miss.
A decent looking cross lands there for Elis.
Elis tries to bum rush Goku with a series of wild strikes but Goku uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Slim Elis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Goku takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Elis lands the left hand.

It looks like Zonk Goku has been cut.
Goku tries for a takedown but Elis sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Elis misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Elis defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Goku.
Slim Elis has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Zonk Goku.
Elis misses with a series of wild punches.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Elis throws a nice looking combination but Goku bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Goku closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Goku lands in his opponent's guard.

Goku is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Elis is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Elis has escaped and now he's on top!

Goku looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Goku looking for a guillotine here but Elis defends easily.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Goku is looking for a triangle but Elis pushes his legs off easily.
Elis would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Elis got a little sloppy there for a moment and Goku has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Elis has managed to get both his arms back between Goku's legs - danger averted.

Goku has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Elis is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Goku.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Elis seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

Goku is looking for a sweep. Elis is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Goku looking for submissions off his back.
Elis wants to stand up but Goku is controlling the position.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Goku looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Slim Elis will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Zonk Goku's cut.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Goku shoots for a takedown but Elis saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Goku dodges the punch combination from Elis.
Elis tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Goku was well out of range. Poor timing from Elis.

Elis drops Goku with a beautiful combination! Goku stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Elis is looking for the KO!

Goku is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Elis goes for a small jab and connects. Now Elis goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Goku stumbles back but Elis runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Goku to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Goku will ever be the same after a knockout like that.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:32 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Slim Elis!
