Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Vitor Ruskov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Silky Parts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Vitor Ruskov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Silky Parts!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Andrew Berry and James Atkins.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ruskov tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Parts was well out of range. Poor timing from Ruskov.
Parts looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Ruskov feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Ruskov is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Parts has eaten all the pies!
Ruskov forces his way into half guard.
Ruskov stalling.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Ruskov passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Parts!
Ruskov content just to control the position here.
Ruskov lands a big shot there that rocks Parts but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ruskov cracks Parts with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Ruskov lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Ruskov takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Ruskov breaks from Parts's wrist control and lands an elbow.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Ruskov controlling the pace for now.
Parts really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ruskov. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Ruskov scores with a couple of good head shots there.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Ruskov controlling the position easily from mount.
Parts takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Ruskov controlling from the full mount.
Ruskov seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Parts for as long as he can get away with.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Ruskov lands a couple of good shots and Parts has given up his back, trying to escape the position!
I would not like to be Parts right now.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Vitor Ruskov dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Ruskov tries to clinch but Parts moves out of range.

Parts gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Ruskov not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Ruskov is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Ruskov is stalling in the full guard.
Ruskov chips away with some ground and pound.
Parts is breathing heavily.
Ruskov pushing down on Parts's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.

Ruskov seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Ruskov's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Ruskov lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Still in half guard, Ruskov seems content to control.
Ruskov has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

We're going to have a standup here because Vitor Ruskov wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

Parts gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Ruskov to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Ruskov stays in close to Parts's body and controls the position.

Parts is working an open guard so Ruskov takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Parts avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Ruskov scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Ruskov takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Vitor Ruskov overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Parts taking some punishment here, with Ruskov in his half guard.
Ruskov is figuring out what he wants to do next.

Ruskov is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Parts doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Ruskov.

Ruskov is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Parts can do to turn this around?
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Vitor Ruskov dominated that second round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!


Ruskov throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Ruskov fails in his attempt to clinch.

Ruskov feints and as Parts raises his hands in defense, Ruskov changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Ruskov controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Ruskov drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Ruskov seems to have locked his on tight now - Parts screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Ruskov, as he picks up the win!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:55 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kneebar). Vitor Ruskov!
