The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spider jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Spider ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Larsson moves away.

Larsson instigates a clinch.
Larsson swings wildly with an uppercut but Spider uses good head movement to avoid it.

Larsson lands a takedown into guard.

Larsson tries to free his leg and advance position but Spider is retaining full guard.

Larsson has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Larsson creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Larsson tries to clinch up but Spider pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Larsson to the mat! Larsson covers up and Spider unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
