PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Toshi Matoshin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Timmey The Gangster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Matoshin comes to the cage accompanied by Mortal Kombat theme. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Matoshin throws a hook but The Gangster blocks it.
The Gangster connects with an inside leg kick.
The Gangster lands with an uppercut that bounces Matoshin off the cage and back into range.

The Gangster is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Matoshin's half guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Toshi Matoshin will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Matoshin will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Matoshin working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. The Gangster doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. The Gangster manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

The Gangster got a little sloppy there for a moment and Matoshin has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, The Gangster has managed to get both his arms back between Matoshin's legs - danger averted.

The Gangster uses his free foot to push down on Matoshin's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Matoshin.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. The Gangster connects with a nice short shot to Matoshin's temple.

Timmey The Gangster showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The Gangster throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Matoshin's waist but Matoshin gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing The Gangster off to one side.

Well The Gangster has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
