The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nkemakolam throws a looping overhand right but Creel ducks down to avoid it.
Nkemakolam works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Nkemakolam looks to land a right hand but Creel moved out of range.
Nkemakolam tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Creel was well out of range. Poor timing from Nkemakolam.
Creel throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Nice uppercut lands for Creel. That snapped Nkemakolam's head back.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Creel sends Nkemakolam crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Creel is motioning to the referee to let Nkemakolam up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!


It looks like Jobe Nkemakolam has been cut.
Nkemakolam is looking to land body kicks.
Nkemakolam takes a body punch but keeps moving.

Creel cracks Nkemakolam with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Nkemakolam looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Creel finish him?


Nkemakolam is rocked!
Creel on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Nkemakolam is still on wobbly legs! Can Creel finish him?
Nkemakolam blocks the body kick.
Nkemakolam seems to have recovered his senses.
Nkemakolam misses with a kick to the body.
Creel takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Nkemakolam connects with a leg kick. Creel looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Creel lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Nkemakolam misses with a low kick.
Creel checks a leg kick.
Creel tries to clinch there but Nkemakolam circles away.
Creel fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Nkemakolam manages to avoid it.
Nkemakolam defending well as Creel loads up on a big left hand.
Creel closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Nkemakolam! Creel dives in looking to finish! Nkemakolam is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Carl Creel!
An intense looking Carl Creel took to the microphone post fight and gave a little speech: 'Gotta try somethin besides counter takedowns, son!'.
