and Fairchild counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Fairchild throws a sloppy head kick and Diaz moves out of range easily.

Fairchild throws a front kick aimed at Diaz's knee but Diaz avoids it well.

Fairchild closes the distance and lands a one-two.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Fairchild's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Fairchild duly obliges.

and Fairchild counters with a big head kick but Diaz shrugs it off.

No joy there for Fairchild, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Diaz closes the distance and clinches up with Fairchild, looking for a takedown. Diaz pushes Fairchild against the ropes but Fairchild circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
