The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Puch swats away the attempt to clinch by Ardona.
Puch avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Ardona takes a swing at Puch's ribcage but misses.

Puch is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Ardona's half guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Puch has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Puch looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Ardona with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Ardona wants to get back to his feet.
Ardona really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Puch. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Ardona has hold of Puch's hands but Puch slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Puch is nestled in close to Ardona, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
