Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Vittumainen Veromies!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, James Glass and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Veromies darts in and clinches Fire up against the cage.
Veromies misses with a hook from the clinch.
Fire working hard to break the clinch.
Veromies keeps control of Fire as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Fire tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Veromies smiles and moves away.
Veromies misses with a leg kick
and Fire counters with a single leg into guard. Veromies didn't expect that.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Fire is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Fire is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Veromies is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Veromies has escaped and now he's on top!
Veromies wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Fire's closed guard. He's half up but Fire has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Fire pivots and extends the arm, Veromies falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Fire! Well done that man!
