Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Charlie Lim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ken Lin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Charlie Lim!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ken Lin!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Kenichi Hosakawa and Sosuke Kotani.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lim scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Lin avoids a kick to the body.
Lin pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Charlie Lim seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lim connects with a jab.
Lim throws a nice outside leg kick.
Lin keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Lim fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Lin has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Lin moves into the clinch.
Lim is looking to control Lin's arms but Lin gets an underhook and turns him. Now Lim has his back to the cage.
Lin is working for takedown but Lim is calmly controlling the position for now.
Lim tries to land knees in the clinch but Lin avoids the damage to the body.
Lim is trying to stall.

Lin gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Lim regains guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Lin controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Lim avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Lin is in close to Lim's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Lin stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lim swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Lin is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Ken Lin.
Lim leaves Lin with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Lin avoids the head kick by Lim.
Lim lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Lim stuffs the takedown attempt from Lin. Lin gets slowly back to his feet.
Charlie Lim has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ken Lin.
Lin takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Lim jabs Lin to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Lin misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Lim throws a head kick that misses.
Lim lands with a kick to the temple. Lin shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Lim dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Lin on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Lim pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Lim connects with an inside leg kick.
Lim tries a head kick but it misses.
Lim scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Lin doesn't seem bothered though.
Lin looks for a takedown but Lim sprawls well.

Lim is looking to wear down Lin with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

Lim defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Lin.

Lim throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Lin on the side of the head.

Charlie Lim is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Lim throws a head kick that half lands.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Lim.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Lin takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Lim throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Lin.

Lin is rocked!
Whack! Lim lands a heavy head kick that drops Lin. The ref tackles Lim to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Lin was done.
