Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Pete Speedy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Howard Li (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Speedy comes to the cage accompanied by Enter Sandman. Howard Li is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Li lands with a nice body punch.
Li feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Speedys jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

It looks like Pete Speedy has been cut.

Speedy shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Li manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Speedy won't allow Li to get back to his feet.

Li is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

Howard Li is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Speedy cracks Li with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Speedy immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Li is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Speedy!
