Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Conan Crom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dell Optiplex (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Crom comes into the arena with Anvil of Crom blaring out of the sound system. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crom takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

It looks like Conan Crom has been cut.
Nice defenses there by Optiplex.
Crom scores with a jab to the jaw.

Crom rushes Optiplex and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Come on Crom - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Crom lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Crom is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Crom wants to get back to striking at distance but Optiplex won't allow it.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Crom.

Optiplex is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Crom lands a right hand that snaps the head of Optiplex backwards.
Optiplex is still on wobbly legs! Can Crom finish him?

Crom is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Optiplex can't fight it off and eventually Crom manages to take the fight to the floor. Optiplex looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Crom trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Optiplex seems to have recovered his senses.
Crom looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Crom has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Crom throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Optiplex works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Crom makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Crom wants to pass the guard but Optiplex is keeping the position.

Crom drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Crom jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Crom lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Optiplex is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Crom passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Crom scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Optiplex to see if he's OK.
