Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 18 - 0, fighting out of London, Duke Richard!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, William Gold and James Ackerman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slapping leg kick lands for Mlodzinski.

Mlodzinski feints and as Richard raises his hands in defense, Mlodzinski changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Richard is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Mlodzinski is aware though and is defending well.

Mlodzinski got a little sloppy there for a moment and Richard has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Mlodzinski has managed to get both his arms back between Richard's legs - danger averted.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Mlodzinski accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Richard has his foot on Mlodzinski's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Mlodzinski works his way back into a safe position though.

Richard is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Mlodzinski pulls his head out easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Richard is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Mlodzinski scores with a couple of nice shots.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Mlodzinski connects with a nice short shot to Richard's temple.

Mlodzinski in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Richard tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Mlodzinski!

A relieved looking Adam Mlodzinski thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
