The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Riddick moves into range and connects with a jab.
King throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
King swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Riddick showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from King.
King falls off balance throwing a combination
enabling Riddick to counter with a crisp jab.
King throws a right and a left that both miss.
King misses with a combination
letting Riddick counter with a right hand.
Shan King seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Riddick dodges the punch combination from King.
Nice uppercut there from Riddick.
King looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
King misses with a two punch combination.

King decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Riddick is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

and Riddick counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
King is breathing heavily.

and Riddick counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Riddick is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! King had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Riddick lets loose with a powerful body kick. King will feel that in the morning.

and Riddick counters with a three punch combo that has King backing up. King nods at Riddick to acknowledge the strikes.
Oh King is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Riddick has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Riddick scores with a nice right hand.
King's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Riddick connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! King scrambles back to his feet.

King gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Riddick gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
