Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between William Courterlille (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roger Cantor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Courterlille comes into the arena with Hed PE - Renegade blaring out of the sound system. William Courterlille had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, William Courterlille!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Roger Cantor!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Robert Douchet and Trevor Gratis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Courterlille misses with an uppercut
and Cantor counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Cantor avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
No joy there for Cantor, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Cantor shoots in and bounces Courterlille off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Cantor seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
