Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Auto Pilot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Homer Simpson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Auto Pilot!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 39 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Homer Simpson !
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Yves DeLean and Dillan Fox.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Simpson takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Pilot throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Pilot throws a half hearted mid kick.
Pilot throws a lazy right hand but Simpson sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Pilot misses with a kick to the body.
Auto Pilot seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pilot misses with a wild body shot.
Pilot tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Simpson manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Pilot.
Pilot throws a leg kick but Simpson sees it coming and moves out of range.
Pilot misses with a low kick.
Pilot tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Simpson avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Pilot turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Simpson checks the leg kick.
Simpson takes a swing at Pilot's ribcage but misses.
Pilot tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Simpson is looking to slow Pilot down with leg kicks.
Simpson blocks the body kick.
Pilot throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Simpson sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Simpson just misses with a punch to the body.
Simpson bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Pilot's head.
Pilot checks a low kick from Simpson .
Simpson blocks the body kick.
Simpson is looking to score with low kicks.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Simpson , as that shot connected.
Simpson throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Simpson throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Simpson sizes up Pilot with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Pilot connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Pilot throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Simpson takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Pilot misses with a head kick.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Pilot lands with an overhand left.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Simpson tries to land a front kick but Pilot steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Pilot misses with a wild body shot.
Pilot keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Simpson .
Simpson swings widly with a right hand

and Pilot decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Simpson 's guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Pilot postures up.
Pilot stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Simpson swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Pilot won't allow Simpson to sweep him here.
Simpson keeping moving, preventing Pilot from controlling successfully.

Simpson tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Pilot stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Simpson swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Simpson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Pilot looking to sit in guard and control but Simpson gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Simpson decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Pilot moves out of range of the leg kick from Simpson .
Pilot thumps Simpson with a low kick.
Nice jab there from Simpson .
Simpson throws a lazy right hand but Pilot sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Simpson throws a low kick, looking for Pilot's leg but Pilot calmly moves out of range.
Pilot throws a body punch but Simpson moves out of range.
Pilot tries to close the distance and clinch up but Simpson swats him away and circles back towards the center.
A telegraphed right hand from Pilot misses the target.
Pilot thows a body shot but no joy.
A nice inside leg kick there by Simpson . That's going to slow Pilot down.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Simpson connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Pilot pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Pilot pushes Simpson away with a front kick.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Auto Pilot will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Pilot is looking to chop away at Simpson 's legs.
Simpson throws a leg kick

and Pilot counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Simpson wants to get back to full guard.
Simpson keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount.
Pilot wants to take a breather but Simpson is having none of it.
Pilot is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Simpson is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Pilot checks the leg kick nicely there.
Pilot steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Simpson .
Simpson avoids a kick to the body.

Pilot rushes Simpson and presses him up against the cage.
Simpson tries to circle away but Pilot has him pinned against the cage.

Simpson breaks from the clinch.
Nice body kick there by Pilot.
Pilot is looking to slow Simpson down with leg kicks.
Pilot throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Simpson avoids a punch combination nicely.
Simpson moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Simpson takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

Pilot uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Simpson .
Pilot throws the kick towards the body but Simpson avoids it.
Pilot tries to work over Simpson 's front leg with a kick but Simpson checks it.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Simpson fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Pilot.
Pilot pivots, looking for a leg kick but Simpson is out of range and Pilot settles back down.
Pilot throws a sloppy head kick and Simpson moves out of range easily.
Simpson takes a swing at Pilot's ribcage but misses.
Pilot tries to clinch up.

Simpson pivots, looking for a leg kick but Pilot is out of range and Simpson settles back down.

Simpson on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Simpson lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
The fight stays on the outside here - Pilot looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Simpson is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Pilot.

Pilot tries to clinch up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Auto Pilot will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Pilot is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Simpson is trying to break the clinch but Pilot is controlling him.

Pilot closes the distance and clinches.

Simpson pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Simpson walks into a stiff left hand from Pilot.
Pilot connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Simpson momentarily.
Pilot wants to slow Simpson down by chopping away at his legs.
Simpson lands with a right hand.
Simpson moves out of range of the body kick from Pilot.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Pilot drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.


Pilot is rocked!


It looks like Auto Pilot has been cut.
Pilot ducks under a wild hook from Simpson .
Oh Pilot is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Pilot walks straight into a right hand from Simpson - that's dropped him! Simpson jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Pilot from any more punishment! Pilot complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:15 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Homer Simpson !
Homer Simpson seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
The defeated Auto Pilot had this to say: 'Whatta hell was that.. '.
