Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Nathan Drake!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Eugenio Caporale!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Aafke Stam and Patrick Alders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drake ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Caporale moves away.
Caporale connects with the punch.

Drake rushes Caporale and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Drake leaning his opponent against the cage.
Caporale tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Drake scores with a shoulder strike.
Drake tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Caporale avoids it.
Caporale works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
A frustrated look appears on Caporale's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Drake prevents a takedown attempt there.

Caporale escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Drake keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Nathan Drake has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Eugenio Caporale.
Caporale fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Caporale tries for a takedown but Drake sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Drake has managed to clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Caporale tries for a takedown but Drake manages to get underhooks.
Caporale tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Caporale jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Drake walks away with a smile on his face. Caporale gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Drake clinches up against the cage.
Caporale throws a punch but it's blocked by Drake.
Caporale takes an elbow to the temple.


It looks like Eugenio Caporale has been cut.
Caporale struggles to land a body shot inside as Drake controls his hands.
Drake lands a right hand.
Drake gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Caporale wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Drake has him pressed against the cage.
Caporale drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Caporale taking a breather.
Caporale tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Drake smiles and moves away.
Caporale throws a right and a left that both miss.
Nathan Drake is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Caporale swings away with a body shot that misses
and Drake counters with a nice body shot.
Caporale closes this distance looking for a takedown but Drake circles away.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Caporale misses with a straight right.
Drake misses with a few strikes there.
Drake scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Caporale misses with a body shot
and Drake counters with a beautiful right hand that knocks Caporale out cold! What a finish! Drake is going crazy, running around the mat, summersaulting off the corner posts and screaming into the cameras. Something tells me he's pretty happy!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Nathan Drake!

Nathan Drake very nearly forgot to thank Zombie Nutrition - LOD amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.
