The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Savage!

It looks like Magomed Ismailov has been cut.
Savage listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Savage lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Ismailov has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Ismailov and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Ismailov is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Savage is trying to maintain a safe position but Ismailov gets an underhook and turns Savage into the cage.
Savage creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Ismailov's defenses.
Savage is pressed up against the cage. Ismailov has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Savage down to the mat. Savage avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Savage lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Savage.

Savage cracks Ismailov with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Ismailov tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Savage pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Ismailov is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
