Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Christopher Samba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nahka Vitonen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Samba comes to the cage accompanied by Bezerker by Love Among Freaks. Vitonen is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Klamydia - Junttihinttirunkkari. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 28 - 9 - 2, fighting out of Hilo, Christopher Samba!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 27 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Nahka Vitonen!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Steven Brown and James Ackerman.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vitonen swings widly with a right hand
and Samba counters with an outside leg kick.
Vitonen takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Good leg kick by Samba there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Samba dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Vitonen. That did some damage!
Vitonen throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Samba uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Vitonen.
Vitonen misses with an uppercut. Samba saw that one coming.
Samba tries a head kick but it misses.
Samba uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Vitonen.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Samba lands a jab to Vitonen's midsection.
Vitonen looks winded!
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Samba.
Samba feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Vitonen's calf.
Vitonen will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Samba misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Samba attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.

Samba throws a big overhand right that connects, sending Vitonen tumbling to the canvas!

Samba throws an elbow that misses. Vitonen uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Samba's guard. Nice move by Vitonen!
Samba wants to sweep but no luck.
Vitonen must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Vitonen is fighting to break Samba's control of his arms but Samba is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

The fighters circle momentarily. Samba darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Samba misses with a takedown attempt - Vitonen sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Samba throws a hook but Vitonen avoids it easily.

Samba is trying to maintain a safe position but Vitonen gets an underhook and turns Samba into the cage.

Vitonen swings wildly with an uppercut but Samba uses good head movement to avoid it.
Samba has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Vitonen after a bit of a struggle.

Samba is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Vitonen can't fight it off and eventually Samba manages to take the fight to the floor. Vitonen looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Vitonen scores with a one two! Samba had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Samba takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Vitonen thows a body shot but no joy.
Vitonen lands with an uppercut that bounces Samba off the cage and back into range.
Vitonen missing with a left hand there. Samba was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Good work by Vitonen as he checks the leg kick.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Vitonen lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Samba here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

Vitonen throws a body punch but Samba moves out of range.
Samba throws a nice outside leg kick.
A combination from Samba does no damage.
Samba attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
No joy there for Samba, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Samba throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Samba does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
That kick from Samba tenderised Vitonen's leg. Vitonen is trying to keep his angry face on.
Samba scores with a jab to the head.
Vitonen swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Samba doesn't manage to clinch there - Vitonen circles away.
Vitonen moves out of range of the strikes.

Samba connects with a leg kick. Vitonen looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

Samba fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Vitonen sprawls well initially but Samba persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Samba is looking to take a break and control but Vitonen is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Samba lands a nice short elbow.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Vitonen trying to get back to full guard but Samba takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount!

Samba looking to finish Vitonen with some ground and pound. This is bad for Vitonen!
Vitonen is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Samba trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Samba throws some wild stikes that Vitonen manages to avoid easily.
Samba misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Samba is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Vitonen can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Samba lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Samba postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Vitonen in real trouble here! The ref calls for Vitonen to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
