Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Diem Miles!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kevin McLeary!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McLeary tries a head kick but it misses.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Miles.
McLeary lands a nice shot that snaps Miles's head back.
McLeary lands a jab.
Horrible takedown by Miles or perhaps it was just good defense by McLeary which made him look bad.
Miles fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Diem Miles. That's going to take a lot out of him.
McLeary displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Miles.
McLeary throws a good cross that connects.
It looks like Diem Miles has been cut.
That's one minute gone in the round.
McLeary misses with a low kick.
McLeary thuds a left hand into Miles's body.
An inside leg kick from McLeary misses.
The crowd cheers as McLeary lands an impressive looking overhand right. Miles doesn't seem phased though.
Miles closes the distance and clinches up with McLeary, looking for a takedown. Miles pushes McLeary against the cage but McLeary circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
McLeary cracks Miles on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Miles falls backwards against the cage. McLeary follows up with more strikes that drop Miles to his knees. McLeary keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Miles! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kevin McLeary! Kevin McLeary retains his bantamweight title!
