Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Shan King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Richard B Riddick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Riddick displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from King.

King closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Riddick quickly recovers to half guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

King decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.

King fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Riddick sprawls well initially but King persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

King escapes and gets back to his feet.
Riddick defends well against a solid takedown attempt from King.
King throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
King slips a jab from Riddick.
Riddick throws a looping overhand right but King ducks down to avoid it.
Shan King seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
King takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
King fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Riddick avoids it really well and circles away.

Riddick gets caught flat footed, as King shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

King gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

King fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Riddick avoids it really well and circles away.
King misses with a double jab
letting Riddick counter with a right hand.

King closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Riddick did well to prevent King getting side control.

King decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
Nice uppercut lands for Riddick. That snapped King's head back.
King misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
King closes this distance looking for a takedown but Riddick circles away.
Richard B Riddick is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
King is breathing heavily.

King tries for a takedown but Riddick sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Riddick throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck King on the side of the head.
King fails to land the takedown.
King looks for a takedown but Riddick sprawls well.
King takes one on the button.
King has a takedown stuffed.
Riddick throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent King stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
A punch lands to the side of King 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Riddick stuffs the takedown attempt from King. King gets slowly back to his feet.
King on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
King on the wrong end of a nice hook.
King takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

King ducks right into an uppercut from Riddick.
Riddick scores with a shot to the body.
Riddick dips to his left and cracks King with an uppercut!

King is rocked!
Riddick swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Nice cross by Riddick.
Riddick lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Riddick.
Oh King is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Riddick is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! King had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Riddick connects with a looping right hand.
Riddick drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks King right on the button. King goes down! Riddick follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Riddick gets the win via TKO!
