Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Michael Tritter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Holden Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Gracie's choice of entrance music: Metallica Enter Sandman. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie throws a low kick but it's checked well by Tritter.
Tritter looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Tritter throws a body punch but Gracie moves out of range.
Gracie throws a half hearted mid kick.
Tritter misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Tritter misses with a wild body shot.
A lazy left from Tritter finds it's target.
Gracie throws a low kick, looking for Tritter's leg but Tritter calmly moves out of range.
Gracie buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Tritter keeps the fight on the outside.
Tritter throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Tritter fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Gracie manages to avoid it.
Gracie misses with an uppercut.
Gracie uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Tritter misses with a low kick.
Tritter keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Tritter misses with a wild body shot.

A nice leg kick lands there from Tritter.

Gracie is looking to land body kicks.
Gracie wants to land a leg kick but Tritter is out of range.
Tritter lands a leg kick that knocks Gracie off balance momentarily.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Gracie.
Tritter is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

It looks like Holden Gracie has been cut.
Gracie connects with a jab.
Tritter throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Tritter blocks a low kick nicely.
Gracie throws a head kick but Tritter moves out of range.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
This has been an exciting period of action!
The referee is keeping an eye on Gracie - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Gracie wants to stall.
Gracie's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Gracie creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Tritter escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Gracie throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
A solid leg kick lands there for Gracie.
Tritter lands a jab-cross combination.
Gracie throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Gracie takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Gracie takes one to the side of the head.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Tritter throws a leg kick

and Gracie counters with a crisp one two that drops Tritter! Gracie thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Tritter to his feet! Tritter is in big trouble!

Tritter is rocked!
Tritter is looking to wear down Gracie with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Gracie explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Oh Tritter is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Tritter is aggressively charging in as Gracie backs up avoiding any damage. Gracie tosses out a jab and Tritter runs right into it face first! Tritter is out cold! Gracie dropped down on all fours and is barking in Tritter's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Holden Gracie!
A pretty intense looking Holden Gracie took the opportunity post-fight to ask for a shot at the title.
The defeated Michael Tritter had this to say: 'I want to thank everyone here at UPG for giving me a chance to compete here. I think its time for me to move. My minds wants to continue but my chin wont let it.'.
