Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Anton Kuivanen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eddy Matsui (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kuivanen comes to the cage accompanied by Kanye West - POWER . Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Anton Kuivanen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Eddy Matsui!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Roosa Järviläinen and Tarja Halkonen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kuivanen slaps away a takedown attempt from Matsui, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Kuivanen scoring well with a low kick there.
A chopping leg kick lands by Kuivanen.

Kuivanen is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Matsui's half guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Kuivanen is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Matsui sees it coming and defends easily.
Kuivanen tries to pass the half guard into mount. Matsui knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Kuivanen got a little sloppy there for a moment and Matsui has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Kuivanen has managed to get both his arms back between Matsui's legs - danger averted.
Kuivanen passes Matsui's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Matsui makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Matsui.

Kuivanen wants to work for an arm triangle but Matsui is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Kuivanen is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Matsui is just riding it out for now. Kuivanen eventually gives up the hold.

Matsui closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Kuivanen's guard.

Matsui has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Kuivanen is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Matsui wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Kuivanen has him pressed against the cage.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kuivanen is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Matsui is refusing to be controlled, as Kuivanen sits in half guard.

Kuivanen looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Matsui tries to roll over but Kuivanen keeps him under control.
Matsui has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Kuivanen is working away from the top position though.

Kuivanen will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

That was a close second round but I would say that Anton Kuivanen will probably get the nod.
