Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jack Trade (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gerd Stenner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stenner is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Escapado - Gezeichnet. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stenner tries for a takedown but Trade circles away easily

and Trade counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Trade in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Stenner wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Trade got a little sloppy there for a moment and Stenner has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Trade has managed to get both his arms back between Stenner's legs - danger averted.
Stenner is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Stenner is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Trade throwing strikes from guard but Stenner blocks nicely.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Trade distracts Stenner with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Stenner is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Trade frees his head nicely. Oh but Stenner has switched to an armbar! Trade is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
