The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thompson throws a right and a left that O Conghaile avoids nicely.
O Conghaile looks for the body kick but Thompson saw that one coming.
O Conghaile throws a sloppy head kick and Thompson moves out of range easily.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Thompson feints and then cracks O Conghaile's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow O Conghaile down.
