Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Vinnie Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Wensink (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wensink has chosen Momma Said Knock You Out as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Vinnie Jones!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Wensink!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Stewart Dunkirk and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones blocks a jab.
Wensink misses with a hook.
Wensink throws a jab when Jones was well out of range.
Jones avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Wensink scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Wensink tries to stand but Jones controls the position and pulls Wensink into his guard.
Wensink would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Jones is on top in guard.
Jones scoring with punches to the head and body.
Wensink wants to sweep but no luck.

Wensink is looking for a triangle but Jones pushes his legs off easily.
Jones passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Wensink tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Jones advances to mount.
Jones controlling his opponent.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wensink sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Wensink is trying to stand.
Wensink is looking for a sweep. Jones is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Wensink on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.

Wensink is in trouble now - Jones has advanced to mount!
Wensink is in all sorts of trouble here.

Jones putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Jones has hold of Wensink's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Wensink manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Wensink really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jones. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Wensink is looking to get to half guard.
Jones lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Wensink is in all sorts of trouble here.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jones can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Wensink is looking to escape.

Wensink takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Jones has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Jones lands a nice shot to the head.

Jones looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

Wensink defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Jones.
Wensink is trying to escape the mount.
Jones controlling the pace for now.
Wensink manages to regain half guard. Good work.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Jones is working for a kimura but Wensink is defending it quite comfortably.

Jones wants to free his trapped foot but Wensink is holding on for dear life with his legs.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Jones looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Wensink uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Jones has time to react.
Wensink throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Wensink cracks Jones with a right hand to the side of the head.
Wensink moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Jones ducks under a wild hook from Wensink.
The fight stays on the outside here - Wensink looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Wensink scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Wensink loads up on a big right hand but Jones slips the punch.
Jones misses with a wild body shot.
Jones bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Jones takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
The fight stays on the outside here - Wensink looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Wensink scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Wensink is looking to clinch but Jones is avoiding it.

Wensink drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Wensink wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Jones, who protects the arm well.
Jones gets back to half guard.
Jones slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Jones looking for a sweep. Not yet Jones, not yet.

Wensink content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Jones has locked up a guillotine! Jones's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Wensink is holding on here and Jones must be using up a lot of energy. Wensink has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Jones gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Vinnie Jones!
