Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Curtis House (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vincent Monkey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Curtis House!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Vincent Monkey!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Wesley Smith and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Monkey throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
House looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Monkey swings and misses with a hook to the body.
House shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Monkey sprawls well. Monkey wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. House gets slowly back to his feet.
Monkey misses with a straight right.
Monkey circles away from the clinch attempt.
House shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Monkey defends it nicely.
House bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
House with a poor takedown

and Monkey counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in House's guard now.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Curtis House. That's going to take a lot out of him.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Monkey working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
Monkey sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed House's guard.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Monkey trying to control the action but House is working from the bottom.
Monkey really doesn't want to stay on the ground with House. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Monkey trying to control from half guard but House is working away.
Monkey looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks House with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Monkey is trying to work for a kimura but House is defending well.
Monkey throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Monkey winds up and cracks House with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Monkey thows a huge punch but House dodges it nicely.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Monkey looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Monkey is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Monkey seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Monkey lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked House! More strikes land and this one is all over! Monkey jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Vincent Monkey!
