The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thorn misses with a kick to the body.
Bowdrie throws a quick inside leg kick.
Nautica Thorn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bowdrie fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Thorn moves to clinch but Bowdrie breaks away

and Bowdrie counters with a crisp right hand that drops Thorn! Bowdrie lets Thorn back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

It looks like Nautica Thorn has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Nice takedown defense from Bowdrie. No joy for Thorn on that attempt.
Thorn on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Thorn is breathing heavily.
Thorn wants to stay close but Bowdrie steps back to make room for something. Thorn seems frozen to the spot and bam! huge swing of the leg from Bowdrie and Thorn drops like he has been shot! A huge head kick and it's all over!
