Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Walter White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aiden McIlvey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Walter White is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Walter White!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Aiden McIlvey!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Gregory Folan and Dillan Fox.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
White comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
White has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
White throws a series of punches but McIlvey moves out of range.
McIlvey looks to land a combination but White avoids it well.
White looks to score with a jab to the body but McIlvey is just out of range.
McIlvey walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. White checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
McIlvey takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
White throws a series of strikes that have McIlvey backpedaling.
White lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as McIlvey backs up against the cage.
McIlvey fails in his attempt to clinch.
White looks to land a combination but McIlvey avoids it well.
McIlvey tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. White manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
White will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
White throws a series of punches but McIlvey avoids them all with ease.

McIlvey tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and White counters with a two punch combo.
The fighters circle momentarily. White darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
White lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but McIlvey circles away quickly and effectively.
White moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
McIlvey has tried to improve his agility in the runup to this fight.
White keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

McIlvey fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with White, pushing him back against the cage.

McIlvey is looking for a takedown up against the cage. White gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

McIlvey fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but White avoids it really well and circles away.

White throws a series of punches but McIlvey avoids them all with ease.

McIlvey fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with White, pushing him back against the cage.
McIlvey is working for takedown but White is calmly controlling the position for now.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by White as McIlvey tries to tie him up.

White on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
McIlvey prevents White from breaking the clinch.

White is trying to break the clinch but McIlvey is controlling him.
White wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
White has had enough of the clinch but McIlvey keeps him there for the moment.
White is struggling to control the position.
McIlvey stalling in the clinch but White improves position.
McIlvey tries to pull guard but White forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

White misses with the combination.

McIlvey bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
White tries to buck McIlvey off but McIlvey is having none of it.
McIlvey tries to advance to mount but White denies him.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Walter White dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


McIlvey dives in and grabs White's left leg, looking for a takedown. White pushes down on McIlvey's head and hops out.
White slips a jab from McIlvey.

and White cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
White throws a right hand that McIlvey ducks under and follows up with a left that McIlvey also avoids with ease.

Walter White seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
White will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

McIlvey tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but White paws at him with a jab and circles away.

A looping hook to the body misses from White. McIlvey does a little dance to reset his feet.

McIlvey moves into the clinch successfully.

McIlvey is looking for a takedown.

McIlvey ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. McIlvey no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

White bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps McIlvey's head backwards.
McIlvey pivots, looking for a leg kick but White is out of range and McIlvey settles back down.
McIlvey tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

White's jab looks to have found its range, popping McIlvey under the eye.
This has been an exciting period of action!
White lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by White.
White looks to land a combination. McIlvey sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
McIlvey tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but White paws at him with a jab and circles away.

McIlvey darts in looking for a takedown but White gets double underhooks and turns McIlvey into the cage.

White seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but McIlvey does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

McIlvey is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and White defends well.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

White decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on McIlvey, up you get!

No joy there for White, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Aiden McIlvey has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
White lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
McIlvey shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says White as he avoids it easily.
Walter White has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Aiden McIlvey.
White misses with a double jab.
White lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
McIlvey throws a left and a right that both miss
and McIlvey takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
McIlvey is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Walter White is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Sloppy strikes from White. Those never looked like landing.

Walter White showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for White, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
