PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Samuel Vimes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jim Storm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Storm has chosen ThunderStruck as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jim Storm!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Skip Squint and Winston Howard.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vimes leaves Storm with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Storm takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Vimes tries to close the distance and clinch up but Storm swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Vimes just misses with a punch to the body.

Vimes darts in and clinches Storm up against the cage.
Storm has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Vimes avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Vimes tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Storm's elbow.

Storm is still on wobbly legs! Can Vimes finish him?

Vimes lands a big right hand that drops Storm! The killer instinct kicks in and Vimes finishes his opponent with a series of strikes from mount. A dominating finish by Vimes!
