The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Don throws a hook but Adams blocks it.
Don catches Adams with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Adams gets a double leg takedown into Don's guard.
Adams is looking to work some ground and pound but Don has wrist control.
Don trying to keep a closed guard but Adams is proving a slippery customer.

Don is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Adams is aware though and is defending well.
Adams advances position into side control!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Adams advances to full mount.
Adams has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Adams breaks from Don's wrist control and lands an elbow.

Don is rocked!

A big strike lands for Adams! That's really hurt Don and he's turned his back - Adams keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Adams jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
