Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Tim Poutsi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kingsley Nasir!
The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Dmitry Maklakov and Aleksei Zolotukhin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nasir scores with a hook to the body. Poutsi takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Poutsi slips under a jab from Nasir.
Poutsi keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Nasir uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Poutsi.
Nasir throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Nasir scores with a jab to the body.
Some bone on bone action there as Poutsi checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Nasir ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Poutsi moves away.
Nasir is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Poutsi rather than just go for the knockout.
Nasir throws a body punch but Poutsi moves out of range.

Nasir is trying to slow the pace down but that's a couple of times in a row that he's tried to get underhooks and Poutsi has denied him.

Poutsi's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Kingsley Nasir.
A looping hook to the body misses from Poutsi. Nasir does a little dance to reset his feet.
Nasir uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Poutsi doesn't manage to clinch there - Nasir circles away.
Nasir lands a nice hook to Poutsi's body. Poutsi takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Nasir shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.

Nasir drives through and clinches with Poutsi against the cage.
Nasir stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Nasir wants to break the clinch but can't.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
Nasir is trying to maintain a safe position but Poutsi gets an underhook and turns Nasir into the cage.
Poutsi tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Poutsi goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Nasir stalling.
Poutsi lands with a left to the head.
Poutsi throws a punch but it's blocked by Nasir.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Nasir tries to work over Poutsi's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Nasir trying to control the position but instead, Poutsi has worked for underhooks and has pushed Nasir into the cage.
Nice body punch from Poutsi - that landed with a thud.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Tim Poutsi will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Poutsi tries to clinch up but Nasir circles away and keeps his distance.
Poutsi shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Nasir eats them both and turns towards Poutsi to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Nasir closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Nasir lands in his opponent's guard.
Nasir forces his way into half guard.
Nasir wants to pass to mount but Poutsi is defending the position.
Nasir keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Nasir prevents Poutsi from improving his position.
Poutsi works his way to full guard. Good work.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Poutsi has Nasir pulled in close to control his posture.
Nasir trying to control but Poutsi is working from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Poutsi looking to control.
Poutsi lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Nasir!
Nasir in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Poutsi trying to control but Nasir is having none of it.
Poutsi prevents Nasir from getting the reversal.
Poutsi is landing with some decent strikes but Nasir is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Poutsi cracks Nasir with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Nasir is in a horrible position here. Poutsi smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Nasir is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Poutsi trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Poutsi with shots to the head and body - Nasir looks very uncomfortable down there.


Nasir is rocked!
Poutsi postures up and throws a massive shot that knocks Nasir out cold! Two more strikes to his unconscious opponent for good luck and this one is all over! Poutsi goes absolutely crazy with his corner! Wow, you can see how much that win means to him!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Tim Poutsi!
In his post fight interview, Tim Poutsi started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
