Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Average Joe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Noob Saibot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Average Joe!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Noob Saibot!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Nard Betker and Patrick Alders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Joe with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Saibot has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Joe misses with a head kick.

Joe shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Saibot is trying to defend but Joe finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Joe is actively looking for submissions here but good counter grappling here from Saibot as he works his way to full guard.
Saibot is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Joe wants to control but Saibot is keeping busy.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
A chopping leg kick lands by Joe.

Joe feints and then cracks Saibot's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Saibot down.
Joe cracks the inside of Saibot's front leg.

Joe moves out of range as Saibot strikes.

Joe shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Saibot pinned against the cage. Saibot gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Saibot keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Joe on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Joe walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Saibot loads up on a big right hand but Joe slips the punch.
Joe uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Saibot.

The strikes coming from Joe are missing the target in this wave of attacks.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Joe working the ground and pound from side control.
Joe is looking to take a break and control but Saibot is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Joe lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Saibot down.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Saibot is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Joe tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Joe has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Average Joe dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Joe throws a half hearted mid kick.
Nice straight punches there by Saibot. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Saibot.

Saibot is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Saibot throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Average Joe seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Saibot swings for the body but Joe moves out of range.

Saibot avoids the head kick by Joe.
Joe throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.

Saibot throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Joe stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Joe wants to pass to mount but Saibot is defending the position.

Saibot is not content to let Joe control the position.
Joe is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Saibot reverses the position - he's now on top in Joe's guard.

Joe is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Saibot has his hands clasped together but Joe extends and breaks Saibot's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Joe.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:51 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Average Joe!
