Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Paul Doorman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bob Fynn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Doorman comes to the cage accompanied by Gold Halo-The Datsuns. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Paul Doorman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bob Fynn!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Summer Carpenter and John Mangel.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Doorman tries to close the distance and clinch up but Fynn swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Doorman is looking to clinch but Fynn is avoiding it.

Fynn gets tackled into the cage by Doorman. Doorman maintains the clinch.
Fynn is trying to push Doorman away but Doorman has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Fynn is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Doorman wants to take the fight to the mat but Fynn manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Doorman is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Paul Doorman. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Doorman jumps guard but Fynn stands there with Doorman around his waist. Doorman gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Doorman changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Fynn fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Fynn lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Fynn misses with a looping left.
Doorman tries to clinch there but Fynn circles away.
Fynn cracks Doorman with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Fynn misses with a hook. Doorman ducked under it nicely.
Doorman tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Fynn manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Fynn throws a series of strikes that have Doorman backpedaling.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Doorman throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Fynn thumps Doorman with a low kick.
Doorman with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Fynn to score with a decent uppercut.
Fynn defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Doorman.
Doorman fails with an attempt to clinch.
Doorman wants to clinch up but Fynn keeps it at a distance.
Nice shot by Fynn.
Fynn moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Fynn cracks Doorman with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Fynn has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Doorman to stand back up!


Doorman is rocked!
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Fynn cracks the inside of Doorman's front leg.
Oh Doorman is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Doorman is defended easily by Fynn.
Doorman is breathing heavily.

Fynn lands a big uppercut and Doorman crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Doorman looks OK. Fynn waves Doorman back to his feet!
Fynn is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Doorman flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Doorman is out cold! Fynn holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Bob Fynn!
