PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jr Adams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mikhail Lepikhin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Adams's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, 'Looking For The Stone' by Dry Branch Fire Squad. Mikhail Lepikhin told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Yuuki Gou and Yukihiro Shimada.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lepikhin throws a hook but Adams avoids it easily.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Adams is nestled in close to Lepikhin, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Lepikhin might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jr Adams.
I think Adams has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
