Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Zoro Fortisimo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Shono (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fortisimo throws a half hearted mid kick.
Shono tries to clinch but Fortisimo moves out of range.
Fortisimo misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
We've been told by Fortisimo's head coaches at Sun Tzu's Art of War that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Shono throws a nice looking combination but Fortisimo bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Shono throws the kick towards the body but Fortisimo avoids it.
Shono has his takedown stuffed
and Fortisimo counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Fortisimo looks for the body kick but Shono saw that one coming.
Fortisimo wants to clinch up but Shono keeps it at a distance.
Fortisimo lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Fortisimo misses with a low kick.
Shono looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Fortisimo scores with a head kick. Shono tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Fortisimo throws the kick towards the body but Shono avoids it.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Fortisimo counters with a leg kick.

Shono shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Fortisimo counters with a thumping low kick.
Shono misses with a low kick.
Zoro Fortisimo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Shono misses with a double jab.
Fortisimo bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Shono gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Fortisimo counters with a nice leg kick.
Zoro Fortisimo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jason Shono.
Fortisimo stuffs the takedown attempt from Shono. Shono gets slowly back to his feet.
Fortisimo lands a head kick!
Fortisimo throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Shono tries to clinch
and Fortisimo makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Shono really felt that one!
Zoro Fortisimo is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Fortisimo pivots, looking for a leg kick but Shono is out of range and Fortisimo settles back down.
Shono shoots and misses

and Fortisimo counters with a crisp one two that drops Shono! Fortisimo thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Shono to his feet! Shono is in big trouble!

Shono is rocked!
Shono looks winded!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Shono has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Fortisimo.
Shono is still on wobbly legs! Can Fortisimo finish him?
Shono darts in trying to clinch
and Fortisimo counters with a good low kick that Shono was not able to check.
Shono seems to have recovered his senses.
Shono is trying desperately to land a takedown but Fortisimo is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Shono.
Shono on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Fortisimo lands a big uppercut and Shono crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Shono looks OK. Fortisimo waves Shono back to his feet!
Shono misses with a takedown
and Fortisimo counters with a body kick that stops Shono in his tracks momentarily.
Fortisimo looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Fortisimo backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Shono's temple! It sends Shono violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Fortisimo celebrates and the doctors try to help Shono!
