Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Plumber misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

The Plumber takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Kaayi shoots in and drives through. The Plumber sprawls well.
The Plumber takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
The Plumber has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
The Plumber is looking to slow Kaayi down with leg kicks.

The Plumber pivots, looking for a leg kick but Kaayi is out of range and The Plumber settles back down.
The Plumber stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and The Plumber wants it to stay on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hideya Kaayi. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Kaayi wants to clinch up but The Plumber keeps it at a distance.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from The Plumber lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Kaayi has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Kaayi and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Kaayi shoots in for a takedown but The Plumber shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

The Plumber lands a leg kick that knocks Kaayi off balance momentarily.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Kaayi lands with a kick to the temple. The Plumber shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
The Plumber lands a leg kick that knocks Kaayi off balance momentarily.

A close round but Joe The Plumber will probably get the nod.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Kaayi shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as The Plumber sprawls well. The Plumber wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Kaayi gets slowly back to his feet.

Kaayi tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but The Plumber defends well and Kaayi ends up having to push The Plumber into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Kaayi fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt The Plumber.

Kaayi is rocked!
The Plumber cracks Kaayi with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Kaayi falls to his knees and The Plumber doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
